AsdeqDocs - Secure Mobile Document Management offers a comprehensive solution for enterprise mobile productivity, emphasizing security and control. It facilitates the automatic and secure synchronization of corporate documents to and from employee iPads and iPhones, supporting Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies. The deployment is on-premise, behind the corporate firewall, ensuring direct connectivity to a variety of leading document management systems, including SharePoint, Trim, Documentum, Exchange, File Shares, OpenText, WebCenter, and IBM Connections.

This platform enables mobile employees to securely access, edit, annotate, author, and search for documents on the move. It employs robust encryption standards at all levels, enforces document-specific security policies, and maintains comprehensive activity audit logs.

User features include automatic synchronization of files between enterprise systems and mobile devices—keeping employees equipped with the latest documents. It provides seamless online and offline access to files, along with full capabilities for document creation, editing, annotation, organization, and sharing. The solution supports native rendering of Microsoft Office documents in HQ mode and offers advanced presentation tools such as virtual laser pointers for PowerPoint.

Annotations can be added via markups, notes, highlights, bookmarks, and drawings, with options to share these securely. Its powerful search functionality allows searches on the device or across the entire document repository. Audit capabilities include full history tracking of document activities and geographic location data. Documents can be added directly to devices without relying on external cloud sharing tools.

Enterprise features encompass high availability and performance within the existing infrastructure. AsdeqDocs maintains existing security configurations at the document level and integrates seamlessly with Active Directory/LDAP permissions without needing separate security setups. Data transfers occur over secure SSL channels; stored data is protected via AES 256 encryption within containerized environments on devices. Policies regarding reading, transferring, editing, emailing, opening in external applications, printing, and sharing can be precisely controlled by user groups or platforms.

The server architecture supports clustering for enhanced availability and performance. Comprehensive audit logs track user activities including location data. The system allows remote wiping of containerized content at any time through straightforward administrative controls—configured via an intuitive web interface that simplifies setup and management.

Implementation is rapid—workers can be operational within less than a day—and includes options for external document sharing with control over access rights and activity logging. Content can be pushed proactively to devices to ensure critical information is current and accessible. Additionally, it supports enterprise disaster recovery standards and secure sharing with external stakeholders such as clients or contractors.
